Happy Valentine's Day

Goodness, time has flown once again. Seems it was still January just the other day and here it is time for Cupid, hearts, and valentines...

Most people ask, "What are you giving your Sweetie (or darlings) for Valentine's Day?" Some people don't care for the holiday as it seems too commercial with printed cards, red teddy bears, and heart-shaped boxes of candy. Feels like the only ones truly having a good time are those raking in the money from the sales. My husband and I don't go wild buying for the holiday -- we usually go out to eat (or if I'm not able to go, we order in from our favorite place). Then we watch a movie or cuddle and talk. Just being together is enough.

But I like to think of Valentine's Day as time to eat my chocolates without guilt. And my loving husband always provides a few of my favorites for the occasion. After all, we've been married a while and I've earned those special candies. I buy him cashew or deluxe mixed nuts and he buys me chocolates...then we share. LOL

I love the romantic movies some of the channels air around Valentine's Day. "While You Were Sleeping" and "The Wedding Date" are two favorites I've watched this week. Something about the story-line and the characters reach into my soul, even though both have their funny moments too.

This is also a fun time for kids to be silly and share cards containing hearts, flowers, and mushy sayings they wouldn't dare give at any other time -- and maybe even a candy heart or sweet kiss on the cheek or nose.

Now for the "shameless" promotion:
Some folks like to read romances more during holidays, especially Valentine's Day. A "happy ever after" leaves us with a contented smile and a satisfied feeling and hopes that life can imitate art. Please check out the video and the books offered by our very talented authors.
Hopefully you will find several affordable books or shorts you haven't read yet by favorite authors and also discover a "new to you" author you will continue to read.

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support over the years and we hope you will continue to follow and support us with your comments, reviews, and purchases.
Without you we could not continue...
